About Babies & Casa Montessori International Preschool
MISSION:
Babies & Casa aims to be the premium school for children aged 8 weeks to 6 years old that inculcates mastery of life skills at the early stages of childrens’ development using Montessori philosophy.
VALUES:
When you think about the future, there’s no better way to change it than sowing into the lives of children. In Babies & Casa, we thrive on developing values that destine the success of a child from the inside out. What makes us stand out among the rest is we not only focus on academic and mental development, but we emphasize on the importance of creativity, respect, deep and loving attachments, independence, self-awareness and environmental responsibility.
1. Creativity
We facilitate the development of the child and instill the awareness of the real world, allowing the child’s creativity and intelligence to be triggered by the surroundings we have intentionally re-enacted.
2. Respect
We believe that in this progressive culture, one of the most important values that define ourselves is respect. We thrive on lessons that instill self-respect and respect for others.
3. Deep and loving attachments
As it is our utmost priority to facilitate the forming of deep and loving attachments between parents and children, we ensure parents are the primary influencers of each development stage of the child as we have developed certain methods for parents to incorporate into their daily lives.
4. Independence
Babies & Casa implements a proven Montessori module of creating an imminent stable foundation on which children get to define the men and women they become in the future. As they grow older, they are constantly nurtured to master their strengths and passions to cultivate frameworks that define their way of living based on the values that we often instil in the children.
5. Self-awareness
From a young age, children are taught to identify the surrounding they are in to develop thought patterns ascertaining safe surroundings and taught to be vigilant of their surroundings and the people they come into contact with.
6. Environmental responsibility
As constant believers that this generation is the future, we encourage a healthy understanding of the environment and promote the importance of recycling and keeping this world clean. We believe that preserving mother nature is a responsibility held by every age group.
Our Curriculum
Montessori education is a worldwide education system founded at the beginning of the 1900s based on a lifetime research of the very prominent Dr. Maria Montessori. Dr. Montessori was born in 1870 and in 1895 at the age of 25, became the first woman in Italy to obtain the degree of Doctor of Medicine. She went on to develop materials and techniques, which promote natural growth of learning in students – regardless whether children of learning challenged abilities or gifted ones.
What makes a Montessori-based learning stand out from the rest?
- The teacher’s role is more of a facilitator to allow children to develop naturally at their own pace.
- Views the child holistically, valuing cognitive, psychological, social and emotional development. The focus is on children’s ability to learn by teaching them how to learn.
- Child is an active participant in learning, having the freedom to move about respectfully and explore the classroom environment.
- Builds a child’s self-discipline from within, making the child understand why he or she has to do something rather than instilling stringent guidelines for the child to follow.
- Uses multi-sensory, self-correcting activities.
- Children learn by working together, giving them the opportunity to be taught by peers and assume the role of a teacher.
- Grace, courtesy and respect and primary values instilled. Goal is to foster the joy of learning.

We also create avenues for plenty of group activities to give the children a sense of belonging to a community of other children. -
