About Stories.my
We are a photography and videography studio that was incorporated in 2008. We have two areas of focus which include Business and Lifestyle. Stories Lifestyle’s vision is to touch lives by building visual stories for the present and future generations. We do this by capturing life’s moments, creating memories and deepening relationships for couples and families through our lenses. We have photographed many high profile clients and celebrities and have over 120 5-Star Reviews on Facebook & Google. We now lead a team of photographers who believe in capturing beautiful memories for our clients.
We believe in doing good work that supports family life, healthy communities, and building a better future for all. So as a team, our strengths are being able to relate with people of all backgrounds and ages, and being able to evoke emotions through compelling images and videos that we capture of your best moments.
Experiences and Awards
Grace (as the senior lead photographer) specializes in family and personal portraits. As a renowned photographer for over twelve years, she has worked with a number of high-profile personalities and celebrities. She speaks at and organises workshops and training sessions on videography and photography for Canon as their EOS ambassador. Our team has traveled to many countries to photograph clients, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Holland and more.
Highlights
Our studio is based in Oval Damansara near TTDI but we travel to photograph our clients all over Malaysia and beyond.

New found respect for photographers, especially those who have to deal with kids
Lawrence Yew , sent on 07/05/2020If you have taken family photos with baby and 3yo before, you will know the "pain" when you have 1 baby and 1 young kid combo. Grace has the patience of a Saint and can work her magic to still get nice photos taken with a monster 3yo that was 100% uncooperative! I must say, photographers like Grace is hard to come by. I have a new found respect for photographers, especially those who have to deal with kids. Would highly recommend Grace and her team for any type of photography as my professional photo was also taken at her studio

She came extra early to coordinate the photo shoot with my family of nine (including two playful, not very cooperative 2-year-olds) and managed to get some wonderful shots of all of us. She was very patient throughout the process and remained upbeat even when the children were crying or difficult to photograph (and even when some of the adults proved to be a bit grumpy). She gave us lots of suggestions for candid shots and had so many ideas for poses and positioning. Even though my entire family only met her on the day, she instantly made everyone feel comfortable and at ease and my 71-year-old father cannot stop raving about her and her work. We loved working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautifully captured family photographs shot by someone with immense talent and more importantly, a huge heart.

Grace was our photographer for the day, the challenge was to manage 3 young boys that are very active. However, her ability to work with kids made the whole experience awesome. Getting kids to smile and pose for the camera can be a nightmare. However, the personal approaches she employs communicating with the kids to pose and smile made it all so easy. Apart from managing the kids well, Grace have the uncanny ability to capture great candid moments. Moments like that would be forever gone if not captured. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as a family with Grace. Thank you.
