Choosing a good movie to watch with your children can be a tad bit challenging, especially when you need to take many things into consideration, such as the genres, the viewer ratings if there are any inappropriate scenes and a lot more.

A G rating means that the film is universally acceptable for all audiences, while a PG rating suggests that while the movie is generally safe for children to watch, there should still be a parent or guardian present for guidance if needed so. This movie brings up many great lessons, but the main one is to always have faith in yourself. In order to participate in the Scare Games, Mike and Sulley join Oozma Kappa, a group of misfit monsters who don’t believe they have what it takes to be Scarers. However, they soon learn that being different does have its own perks throughout the tournament and slowly began to trust their capabilities more.

Though there are moments of sadness in this movie, it is ultimately more uplifting and heartwarming than anything. Up is a movie about the beauty in unlikely friendships. It's also a visually stunning film, which is a treat for both you and your kids.

Despite being a rat in a place that forbids rodents, Remy dreams of becoming a great chef. Remy eventually gets the chance to prove his culinary abilities all the while having to face many challenges of his own.

The whole message of this movie is to show how important it is to chase after your dreams, which is a very good moral value for your children. Just like experimenting and playing around with food can lead to a delicious and mind-blowing meal, taking risks and doing something unexpected can lead to success in other parts of life as well.

With the help of his Oompa Loompa workers, Wonka secretly holds a hidden motivation for the tour, one that he will reveal only after the children in the group show their true colours.

The movie’s main message is about how it is extremely important to be grateful for the complex and simple things in life. Although Charlie could be jealous of the spoiled children who also found the Golden Tickets, he never even once compares himself to those who are more fortunate. It is a very good moral lesson to be shared with your children.

This Disney animated feature follows the adventures of the young lion Simba, the only heir of his father, Mufasa. While Simba manages to escape, his father was tragically killed. Simba then returns as an adult to take back his homeland from Scar with the help of his friends Timon and Pumbaa.

The moral value that your children can learn from this movie is to simply move on from the past because it is something that has happened and cannot be changed. What you can do instead is to learn from it, grow personally from it, and then move on with your life and not dwell on things.
